Paul Rachubka, Richard Kingson and Rob Edwards are among 11 players to be released from the club.

 

Manager Ian Holloway has confirmed his retained list for the forthcoming 2011-12 season and others to depart are long-serving right-back Danny Coid, Malaury Martin, Marlon Harewood, Jason Euell, David Carney, Andy Reid, Salaheddine Sbai and Ishmel Demontagnac.

 

New contracts have been offered to goalkeeper Matt Gilks, left-back Stephen Crainey, Players' Player of the Year David Vaughan and striker Brett Ormerod. Youngsters Mark Halstead and Ash Eastham have also been offered new deals.

 

Options for a further 12 months at Blackpool have been activated on the contracts of Keith Southern, Neal Eardley, Ian Evatt, Billy Clarke, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Charlie Adam and Louis Almond.
