Royal Mail to be privatised

I send out at least 4 or 5 things by Royal Mail most weeks and typically most of my stuff is there next day when the majority of it is sent second class.

 

Of however many thousand bits I've sent out over the last couple of years I've only had one thing go missing entirely and 2 or 3 late deliveries.

 

It's fairly consistent with what was going on before privatisation for me. 

 

As far as I can tell the only thing which has changed are claims for lost items which actually seems to have improved.

Things have really gone to pot at the Royal Mail since it was privatised.

Fucking thieving cunts. Daughter's birthday/Christmas present has gone "missing" and now I'm looking at paying at least £100 more for the same gift.

Thought insurance was pretty much included with royal mail?

I have to get in touch with the company I bought it off and cancel/refund the order and then have to hopefully find a replacement in 3 days that I can just pick up. It's the inconvenience of the whole thing plus it's all the 72hours/10 working days to resolve the issue nonsense as well
