A very good manager and the way he turned it around at Chelsea showed just how good he is.

He did have the players but he got them playing again, if truth be told they should have been in Rome. Glad they were not but they did deserve it.

Yes, he's an outstanding manager, and his teams tend to play good fantastic football. Don't be too surprised if he's back at Chelsea before too long.

I want to add that as a man I wouldn't want him near my football club. A mercenary for whom the means have always justified the ends.

Chelsea have been the best team in the League since his arrival.

They would have pissed the league next season if he had stayed IMO

Gllad he has gone, only manager in Europe to get the better of Rafa

Stats please

Fuck the stats Nick. They only played "well" in a handfull of games although they did win loads of games.

We only played badly in 2 games as far as I can remember - Boro and Chelsea at home in Champions League. We nearly handed their arses on a plate in the return leg. We made individual errors against Arsenal but played well overall in the game.

Flavour of the month. Apart from his time at PSV he's achieved very little.

Spot on. A very good manager he might be, but all the praise for him has been way over the top.

PSV Eindhoven: 6 League Championships - Equivalent to winning the league with Celtic or Rangers

PSV Eindhoven: 3 National Cups - As above

PSV Eindhoven: 1 European Cup - Fantastic acheivment (Though the Liverpool team of 88 would have destroyed them)

Real Madrid: World Club Cup - Success with a ready made team

Holland: Quarter-finals (Euro 1996), semi-finals (World Cup 1998 ) Getting out of the group stage of the european championships is hardly anything to shout about. Decent effort in the world cup

South Korea: Semi-finals (World Cup 2002) Nothing to do with corrupt referees then.

Australia: Second-round (World Cup 2006) Whoohoo!

Russia: Semi-finals (Euro 2008 ) Whoohoo!

If he was as good as people say he is he wouldn't hide away in the international scene.
