Just been into my local Ladbrokes and picked up a football coupon for weds.

Got home and looked at it and I still cant believe what I saw.Argentina at 4/6 to beat Scotland. This has to be a cock up of the year.

They would massacre them normally anyway, but the fact it is maradonas first game as coach makes it even more certain.

No Messi or Riquelme and a few other players have pulled out aswell, plus Scotland won't roll over at home and Argentina have been shocking recently. 4/6 seems a fair price but I wouldn't touch it, betting on friendlies is a no-no for me.

Riquelme is dropped he hasn't dropped out.Scotland have had 4 players drop out through injury.IMO this has massacre written all over it.

Sorry you are right his club pulled him.

It does seem like good value but friendlies are terrible matches to bet on.

Who is in the Argie's squad???

Are the likes of Tevez and Aguero in there???

Goalkeepers:

Juan Pablo Carrizo (Lazio, Italy)

Sergio Romero (AZ Alkmaar, Netherlands)

Defenders:

Nicolás Burdisso (Internazionale, Italy)

Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle United, England)

Martín Demichelis (Bayern München, Germany)

Daniel Díaz (Getafe, Spain)

Gabriel Heinze (Real Madrid, Spain)

Javier Zanetti (Internazionale)

Midfielders:

Ángel Di María (Benfica, Portugal)

Fernando Gago (Real Madrid)

Luis González (Porto, Portugal)

Jonás Gutiérrez (Newcastle United)

Javier Mascherano (Liverpool, England)

Maximiliano Rodríguez (Atlético de Madrid, Spain)

José Sosa (Bayern München)

Forwards:

Sergio Agüero (Atlético de Madrid)

Germán Denis (Napoli, Italy)

Lisandro López (Porto)

Ezequiel Lavezzi (Napoli)

Carlos Tevez (Manchester United, England)

To be honest I think Germany at 6/5 is better value.

Germany at home against an England B side should win this game.

you can get 6/5 for Germany and 4/6 for Argentina at Betfred, which means the double pays 8/3

Is correct, Germany at 6/5 should not be missed, a much better bet than the Argies/Scotland bet.

Riquelme is rested, not dropped.

He is going to be wearing the number 10 shirt fir Argentina and is together with Messi seen as the two key players Argentina when they shall try to be more attacking than the last few years, this all according to Maradona himself.
