They actually base it on the amount of available credit. If you have another car loaded up, you're better off keeping one with zero balance as it makes your available credit look better. Never had a family holiday abroad as a kid. My dad saved 20p coins all year round to pay for petrol to go to Devon. That was in a tent. I don't see how going to Ibiza all inclusive for a week is going to expand the horizons of a lot of kids from the north east. They could be anywhere, but end up in a pool while their mum gets a tan and the dad recovers from getting pissed the previous night. Or is it just me who had the misfortune of ending up on holiday with people like this? What annoys me about this bloke is that he's gone to Disney. It's not that he can't afford to go during the holidays, he just chooses to take them to Disney. He could have made the memories over a weekend at Euro Disney.
