Just robbed this from the offal, sounds very professional with an interactive show hosted by john barnes.

'The countdown is well underway to the eagerly-awaited launch of LFC TV - the dedicated channel of British football's most successful club, available on SKY and Virgin Media as part of the Setanta Sports pack.

In just ten days time Liverpool fans will be able to tune in daily to enjoy the most up to date and comprehensive coverage of the Mighty Reds.

With the latest match action, exclusive interviews with the manager and players and the latest breaking news direct from Anfield and Melwood, the LFC TV team will be working around the clock to bring you closer to your Kop idols than ever before.

We'll be showing you all 90 minutes from every one of our Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League games during the course of the campaign; we'll be broadcasting regular news bulletins to ensure you never miss any of the latest Liverpool developments; and we'll be hosting talk and discussion shows each night where you can debate the latest hot topics with our special guests.

The club's glorious history will be treated with the respect it deserves and as well as reminiscing over our famous triumphs, the stars of years gone by will be regular visitors to our studios to give their expert views on the latest Anfield action.

Based in south Liverpool, the LFC TV offices have been kitted out with the latest state-of-the-art TV technology, including an 80 square metre studio designed to give each programme a distinctive look and feel.

"I'm very confident the channel will look very good indeed," said LFC TV General Manager Stephen Michael. "It will be a channel the fans want to watch and will add tremendously to their experience of this club.

"Supporters will be able to turn on and enjoy matches, hear the latest news, see interviews with the playing and management staff or find out about the new stadium in a way they couldn't do so easily before.

"The reason we are finally here after thinking about doing a channel for a long time is that we have been presented - in the Setanta partnership - with a way of doing it that makes sense for everyone. It makes sense for us as a business and it makes sense for the fans because the content proposition is really compelling.

"Being able to hook up with a major broadcaster gives us big operational benefits which mean we can make the kind of channel we would want and that the fans will be proud of.

"The production facility we have built is fantastic and the unique thing about it is we have both the TV and website operations working very much as one team. That doesn't seem to be the case at some other clubs. Working this way means we can ensure that whatever platform the fans are using, they're getting the very latest information.

"We've had to build the channel in a very short time frame and it's therefore especially pleasing that we've managed to recruit such a talented team. I'm hugely pleased with the people we've found; a combination of those who were already here and others who have moved to the area to be part of the project."

Available at no extra charge as part of the Setanta Sports offering and via Virgin's XL pack, the channel will also be streamed live on Liverpoolfc.tv's e-Season Ticket, the official website's premium service.

Don Jones, a former Head of Sport at Granada TV, has been an instrumental figure behind the strategic planning of LFC TV and he admits building a channel from scratch has been both a challenging and rewarding process.

Studio Outside Gallary"I just wish we were ready and going live on air for the first time tonight," said Don. "So much work has gone into this project and now we just can't wait to get going.

"The run-up to the launch of a TV channel of this size is never going to be without its challenges but I'm sure that once we start it'll be like a rollercoaster ride and we'll be carried by our own momentum.

"There are so many facets to setting up a channel - things that you can take for granted when working for a big existing broadcasting operation.

"A big company like ITV or BBC have many things already in place like a music library, a department focused on making promotional material and a huge graphics department creating the designs that make up the identity of the channel. They spend huge amounts of money on those types of things.

"We've had to start from scratch to give the channel the material which will allow it compete in a very busy broadcasting world but I think everybody has done a great job.

"One of the differences with a club channel compared to others is we'll have to make a lot of programmes very quickly, quite often live shows because we'll constantly be responding to matches and changes in circumstances. It's an ever-changing environment and the trick is to keep abreast of it all. We'll have to work very quickly and very accurately, and also reflect the mood of the fans and the club's ambition."

Paul Rogers, Head of Content at LFC TV, insists the channel will aim to have every angle covered in an attempt to ensure the viewing experience is as enjoyable as possible for the club's vast army of supporters.

"We've spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort into planning the content on LFC TV," he said. "We're going to be broadcasting a wide range of programmes which will hopefully appeal to the club's global fan base.

"We'll be live on air every night with 'LFC Now' – our fifteen minute long news round-up show bringing you all the latest stories from Anfield and exclusive chats with our special guests.

"Although we're not able to show games live as they happen, our match coverage will be as comprehensive as possible with in-depth previews and expert analysis after the final whistle has blown. You won't have to wait too long to watch the matches in full – all 90 minutes from all of our league and European matches will be broadcast on LFC TV.

"We're also extremely conscious that this is a channel the fans are going to want to be involved in and for that reason we'll be broadcasting an interactive show – 'This is Anfield' – when supporters will be given the chance to air their views and engage in debate with our guests.

"Some of the biggest names in the club's history will be regular visitors to our studios and we're delighted to announce that John Barnes will be hosting a show when he'll be chatting with his own special guests.

"We'll also be dipping into the club's past and showing classic games, reliving memorable moments and counting down our very own Kop tens in our definitive chart shows.

"We've got the best football club and the best fans in the world - now we want the best club TV channel as well." '

I assume an interactive show with john barnes is a good thing!!!

Got this from another forum I use, aint' had a chance to try it out as I'm now living in Australia but should be good to see what there broadcasting

The new channel has started test broadcasting on sky. It is currently showing highlights from the 04/05 champions league run.

Hope this is of interest

Here is how to add it

It can be manually added by entering the following

Frequency 11.307

Polarisation v

Symbol rate 27.5

FEC 2/3

Manual Tuning

To access the LFC tv channel, you need to add it to the "Other Channels" section of the Digibox "Services" menu.

Bring up the Services menu and choose option 4 for System Setup then 4 again for Add Channels. Type in the frequency as shown, together with the polarity letter. For Astra transponders 1 to 40 leave the Symbol rate and FEC at their default values, for other frequencies change them to the settings shown. Choose Find Channels and the list of channels being broadcast by that transponder appears. Highlight the name(lfc tv will be called 53310) and press the yellow button to add the channel. Pressing the Select button saves it. Lfc tv will now be available under the "Other Channels" option in the Services menu.
