Oh definitely, that's the only legitimate reason he should be fucked off and not appointed.

Not necessarily. If he likes beans on a full English he should be fuxked off immediately.

 he's definitely a short-arse,

Klopp lokks like he wants to give the little fella a couple noogies here:

Liverpool next manager odds as Roberto De Zerbi 'decision made' amid Rúben Amorim latest - Liverpool.com

As a fellow 6'4" person, I find that what I like to do in this situation is to put my forearm on a mate's shoulder, like he's just something to lean on. Nothing overt about it but it's massively disrespectful somehow.

Excited is the wrong word for it but I'm quite interested to see what he can bring to the job. I'm not expecting much from him first season but he definitely seems like the best choice out there. Initially I was thinking we should go for De Zerbi if we couldn't get Xabi tbf. But the bits of Sporting I've seen, along with the tactical breakdowns and the bits about how he is with the media and his players, makes me think this guy is the better fit.

Huge step up for him like. Never managed or played outside of Portugal.

If this is the marker, Klopp never managed or played outside Germany.

Amorim or Alonso - both will be a gamble to a larger extent. They will be replacing a genius coach and the biggest character in world football. It is not going to be easy, we just have to hope it works.

I know fuck all about Amorim but given we can’t replace Klopp I hope the deal is done and the speculation over soon . At least the fella will have a bit of breathing space to settle in and get to know the players

Germany is a much stronger league than Portugal.

Klopp got Dortmund to the Champions League final as well. Amorim's record in European competition is okay, but not outstanding.

That Plettenberg is a complete fraud. That may or may not be true but he hasn't 'been told' shit. Total bluffer.

If he doesn't come out of the gate strong there is no hope for him. Nor should there be - if he cannot progress on what is here, why hire him?

There is no chance this fella has it in his locker to drop off/out of the CL spots and then rebuild and get us back to the top.

TBF Klopp had trouble doing it.

This is exactly it, there is no one in world football that is available and we could bring in that is going to compare to Klopp for us, the best we can do is pick someone to have a go and hope they are able to replicate some of his success at least, it wont be easy.
