Looks to have lost a bit of confidence for some reason and seems shaky in games. It’s lead to him losing the ball in some dangerous positions in the last few games.

 

Could really do with pushing him into his natural position a bit further forward but with Dom, Curtis and now Gravenberch occupying the more advanced midfield roles, and only Endo as a recognised DM, I can’t see it happening for a while.

I think that’s what we’ll see on Sunday. I reckon Endo, Mac And Zob will start based on the minutes they played last night.

I was hoping Endo would still be on when he was brought on as a sub so he could play in his more natural position. Hopefully, as @aws says, that'll happen on Sunday.

I think we see flashes of what he’s capable of. He’s not been poor but a lot of room for improvement and I’m sure he will, he’s a good footballer.

We need a top quality six that would then free Macca. It’s as simple as that. Or we use Endo in the six and see how he gets on. He’d be the lone six and I think that’s a tough ask but we do need to get Macca in his natural position. Then he would thrive. He was outstanding for Brighton and is top notch for Argentina.

I love Thiago as a player but the only contract we should be offering him should be some kind of pay as you play deal. Even then I don't think I'd bother.

He's a lovely idea - but sadly the reality is his body can't cope.

 

It is like having a really nice, expensive flash car, but you can't drive it around day to day where you live because it won't go over speed bumps and it spends most of its time on a ramp in a garage anyway.

 

A nice idea - but ultimately not fit for purpose.

Nah.  He's competent back-up. I'd say he's the second best Left Back we've had in about 20 years. (Admittedly, that's a "tallest dwarf" type of statement.)

I see zero quality just freedom to be like a puppy off a leash. I must spend half the games saying Jesus at his lack of quality or use of the ball. His all round game is like Nunez composure in the 6 yard box. Stringvest thinking he's better than Robbo makes me think humanity really is doomed.

Tsimikas is good. Quality on the ball, top notch fella. 

As @AngryOfTuebrook says he’s probably the second best left back we’ve had in the last 20 years.

I'd take  Enrique, Aurelio, Riise, Bjornebye all ahead of him as players and you're right it's a shit list of left backs we've had. I just think he's shite and next summer 100 percent that part of the pitch needs addressing, Robbo is sliding down the peak and if Tsmikas ever becomes first choice you know we've entered the post Klopp dystopia.

Mad opinion, tsimikas is a very decent full back
