Nice to see Nunez getting some appreciation from our away supporters and the bench as opposed to the slagging off he's had on here. He's going to be top class, just needs to sort his finishing out and to learn the offside rule.

Just now, Bobby Hundreds said:

Great result but let's be honest often a complete shitshow of a performance. I'm just going to move on from it and hope to fuck at some point Klopp and Ljinders either find solutions or FSG release some bastard money.

Sort of yes. Nothing is fixed. We are still shooting it out in the OK Corral.

As frustrating as nunez is, he's not the problem. The midfield is a disgrace. No pace power or athleticism that we used to have. Chasms between units, zero compactness and tactically inept at times.

Even with Diaz and jota back, our back 4 can be got at with ease and that's been happening all season.

Add a bit more composure to his game and Nunez will score a lot of goals.

Thiago wasn't at the races today with midfield runners causing us so many more problems than they should.

Big win though. Add more quality in midfield and we will push hard in the league at least for CL.

Good to see Mo look more like his old self and thought the Ox played pretty well too.
