Unfortunately, that sort of performance means we start again next season with a new manager and without several of our better players. There's no way FSG will take responsibility and spend like they'd need to in order to get us back on track. The excuse from the usual suspects will, of course, be "oohhh we're not in the CL, we can't possibly afford to spend as much money" even though plenty of Premier League clubs who never sniff the competition can lavish hundreds of millions on new signings.

Our problem is we have too many injury prone/unreliable players especially in midfield and we have just not done enough about fixing that.

We have trusted the same unreliable players to stay fit and of course they haven't been able to and we have no real quality depth/cover in there.

When we are at or near full strength we are of course boss - problem is take a couple/3 out and the drop off is massive and the team does not function anywhere near as well.

Once we have everyone back - results will of course pick up and we'll challenge for top 4....to stay where we have been we needed to strengthen from a position of strength and be more ruthless....as well as be lucky with injuries.....none of those things have happened - in fact we have been even more unlucky than usual/the usual suspects havw broken down all at same time and here we are.
