Should be one of the biggest scamdals in recent history.   Already halfway under the rug.

Well when you’ve got Gove on Marr saying they did an in incredible job with cocooning the elderly from the worst of it at the start and it could have been much worse he’s employing mental gymnastics that the majority of the population are either not able to, or not willing to, see through.

The amount of doublethink the government is spewing out is enough to make inquiring minds check themselves. It’s all very nefarious and very deliberate.

You have to decode everything and most people aren’t bothered with anything but the sound bite.

It stems from practice used by George Osbourne, many others used it but he’s my first reference point, of deliberate saturation of the news with slightly conflicting angles about the same thing leaving the reader/viewer to piece together their own narrative, which will be, by design, different from others. So whilst people get bogged down in the minutia the big, simple idea, gets forgotten about and we dig in with our binary factions.

Pretty fucking scandalous. He said they there was nothing they could have done to change the situation.

Well guess what. Buckland, you could have looked at what was happening elsewhere and got your fucking PPE stocks and testing kits in order well before you needed to make that decision. You could have looked at the massive fucking manual that came out of the pandemic exercise a few years earlier, and made sure you were ready. So yeah, there was a lot you could have fucking done.

Interesting PMQs already, about 10 minutes in.  Starmer's questions brilliant but delivery rather suspect, Johnson ignoring Starmer's questions in favour of answering his own (this government has an uncanny knack of answering a different question) and Hancock nearly kicked out by The Speaker.

Is Hancock having a breakdown?

I think he's been promoted far above his ability and at the moment has a very inflated sense of self-importance, but he's constantly worried about being "found out" and will soon/eventually break down.

Johnson was coming out with figures about testing and the camera cut to Hancock who was looking at him as if to say "Nooo thats fucking bollocks".

Good to see Hancock getting a blocking after the way he spoke to that MP last week.

Starmer could have done better today IMO but still had him on toast.

No point in these though so long as the speaker doesn't hold the PM to account and make sure he addresses and answers the actual question.

Yep, none.  And the moment this gets too hot, Cummings will stop MPs attending, and we'll all do nothing about it except complain on social media that it's not right, and HMG will say "fuck you", and we'll all just angrily play 8 ball pool on our phones.

Behind the thin veil, we see this 5 year tyranny  in its full glory.  That's if we get to have elections in 5 years, which I'm not certain we will, the Tories might just change legislation and make it a 10 year term.  What the fuck are you going to do about it?

Boris been brushing his hair with a ventilator.

He's a fucking scruff. The abuse Corbyn took a few years ago for basically not wearing an expensive, fitted suit. Johnson looks like he's jumped out of the bedroom window of a married woman's house in a hurry.

Wasn't the UK voted as having the most untrustworthy Media of all European countries in research done by the European Broadcasting Union?

Well they would say that wouldn't they? Bloody foreigners reporting on our news.
