Didn't we have a good few muscle injuries after klopp took over? Seems the transition from one type of training to klopps is quite taxing on ones body if you've changed to it mid season. That's why klopp always wants new recruits in the door early so they can acclimatise to his methods.

We did - I make you right but we also still seem to get a disproportionate amount of these type of injuries.

Mind you it wouldn't be us in a big game without a key injury - seems to happen all the time...half expecting Salah or Mane to be out as well.

As long as it doesn't become a recurring problem. One things for sure, Liverpool need a settled centre back partnership and anyone who can't be part of that isn't going to be of much use.

Matip and Lovren both have terrible injury records so looks like to get a settled partnership we need someone else

Im taking this injury talk with a pinch of salt... jurgen basically said the other day, dont expect him to start games straight away, hes hardly played much this season and hasnt trained much with his new team mates.

I suspect he didnt fancy playing him in this when he is not 100%, by saying he is injured it would quash any backlash should we get a negative result
