The thing is, with the likes of Lallana and Henderson they are lucky that teams have to bump their English player quota, hence why they are overpriced and inevitably under perform for the money spent.

I like Lallana but I just don't want to see him Coutinho and Firmino playing in the same side. The lack of balance and variety in our attacking play when they all play together is so frustrating to watch.

You have to admire our dedication to buying the exact same player.

It can't be easy scouting a player who is essentially the same exact player Lallana, or Coutinho is, but we did it.

He's pretty far from the player he was himself pre Liverpool.

What was he pre Liverpool? A player in his mid twenties with only 2 Premier League seasons under his belt, and 11 Premier League goals total by the age of 25. And we paid £25 million for him - sensational. Klopp hinted at Tottenham being interested in him: no idea why we didn't sell rather than try to convert him into a deeper central midfielder, which inevitably will not end well.

TBF to the lad he shone pretty well in that Southampton team, maybe that was because he had ball winners around him in midfield which hid his mediocrity.
