Sakho over Lovren goes without saying and I think I would have picked Ibe over Ings, but I essentially agree with Rodgers selection. Quite fancy Milner and Benteke to score.

Team is ok but it's how we play that counts. If Firmino, Ings and Benteke are left up front with the midfield holding back we're not going to do much. Hope Can asserts himself and gets forward a bit.

If it is two up top then bring it on. It definitely should have been two up top at home to West Ham, and arguably you could say playing one striker away to Man Utd is the way to go. But we haven't really looked balanced with one striker yet, apart from in the first half against Arsenal when we went forward in numbers. If we go with one striker today I just think Benteke will be isolated and we will hand them the initiative.

 

So all this is to say, before a ball has been kicked I like it. Obviously apart from Lovren!

Need Firmino to step up big time. Ings and Benteke will score if they get the service. If it's 4-4-2 that is. Ings on the wing and I'm less confident even though I've seen him play there and he put in a decent shift. Need him up there with Benteke, getting onto those knock downs.

Probably going to be something daft like 3-2 or 2-2. Think I've got a sinus infection so I'm stuck in watching the match after all.
