When you have to work 23 hours a day to stave off scurvy you'll buy the simplest narrative for your situation.

You have to remember we live in a country where about two thirds of the population support the monarchy.

I've never understood it and never will. Same with those who bang on about 'selfish' human instincts. My instinct has always been to take care of the vulnerable. Mind you, mainstream media wasn't allowed in my house growing up, so that probably had a bit to do with it.

I'm not sure it's that difficult to understand. The mainstream media deals exclusively in divide and conquer bullshit, and the vast majority of working people haven't got the time or inclination to educate themselves about politics and economics, and therefore their one source of "information" is essentially little more than a propaganda tool of neo-liberalism. We've had this for 35 years.

I didn't bring the environment up.

There is no clutching going on here. I'm just not a thick cunt.

Its me who's the thick cunt? Im willing to accept that adding thousands and thousands more people to an Island every year is going to fuck with the environment of that country.

Less housing = Building on green spaces More cars/people/need for public transport = more polution/rubbish landfill etc . Im certainly no expert and it wasn't me who brought Greenpeace up either it seems common sense to me though.

No security benefit? Apart from being able to have more say on who we actually allow into the country of course!

What? Unless you're planning a racist, Trump like 'no Muslims' sign, you don't think terrorists are going to come in via the immigration system just to blow themselves up, do you? They'll come in like everybody else. Or are you planning on race based travel?

The Spanish were firing rubber bullets at brothers in Gibraltar not too long ago. Europe is absolutely rife with division and always has been, the likes of the Spanish and Italians hate each other, both racially and politically, let alone anyone else.

The fuckers probably waiting till the day after our vote to have a great big punch up.

You do not need to be thick or racist to be wanting us to get out of the EU. You really don't.

But it is amazing how pretty much all of the stupidest people around want to leave. And it pretty much always boils down to the best efforts they can muster for hiding their petty little prejudices behind tiny little fig leaves. We all know it, we all see it. Check your facebook. Yep the derpiest fucking derps are the loudest, least logical and most xenophobic...and they all want to get out of the EU.

Basically, they don't like immigrants and for that they are, pretty much unknowingly, going to give up most of their employment rights and protections. Turkeys, the lot of 'em.

I suppose you could be an employer who wants to strip his workers of rights or somebody with a vested interest in the current Tory power struggle.

The alternative to immigrants taking their jobs won't be found in capitalism. I wish the thick pricks realised that and joined the left wing.

Immigrants aren't taking anyone's jobs < the point

And if that's their alleged concern, then they probably already are left wing.

Or, of course, Right wing.

I wouldn't describe this man thick, racist or a turkey just because he has a different view on the EU

That is just not true, sorry. I have lived in Italy for years and there is zero hatred towards the Spanish. Romanians on the other hand there is considerable dislike towards.

And the Spanish tend to save their hatred for people from other parts of Spain.
