We have it on this thread every year, some people (like myself) enjoy discussing big winter coats then you get the interlopers, who think they're Chuck fucking Norris coming on telling everyone they don't need a big coat & we're fannies for wearing one.

 

I mean, I don't think cricket is necessary but you don't see me on that thread pointing it out every time it gets bumped.

 

Perhaps if they're too hard to need a big coat, this thread isn't the place for them, just a thought.

To be fair I think that's probably my fault this time for mentioning I didn't think I'd get the use out of a down coat. I opened the door there.

 

Still want a proper bastard of a warm coat though. Got a new wooly hat this week in preparation for the cold weather.
