Ive got no smart jacket to wear for this time of year and wanted to get the GF opinions on whats in at the moment.

Dont mind spending on something nice, say to take a lady friend out.

Fuck fashion, Mike. Fuck it in the head.

 

I've got a duffle coat. A long one. I love it. Had it for years. Warm and comfortable. It may not be in but I care not a jot.

 

Like this one, sans the ostentatious buttons.

Got this from New Look recently after going on a winter coat blitz (I bought four different coats in about two weeks). Never had anything from New Look and know they're supposed to be cheap and cheerful, but it's surprisingly good quality. Don't button it up the way this jerkoff is though, the collar is designed to stand up by itself and it looks nice when it's open.

My all out assault on Winter has resulted in me buying a waterproof and a full on arctic parka too that's comedy big, alas, it's too warm for it.

As befits someone of my great age, I avoid fashion.  I wear a Jaeger waxed mid length jacket for the footy.
