I agree that the players are ultimately responsible for their own actions, but it's worth remembering that agents often get 10% on transfers don't they, so it's in their interests to have the player move around every few years. That has an influence on the advice they give, and some players listen far too much to their agents.

And as I say, they should just stand up to them and tell them to shut up and stuck their 10% up their arse or they'll be sacked and get absolutely nothing. There is not one single excuse I will accept for someone being so weak minded he will let his pimp tell him what to do. These are fellas like Suarez who are willing to take their clubs to court and all the fan abuse that will come with and you're saying they can't stand up to their pimp? Nonsense mate, it really is.

Haven't read all this thread, but I hope to God we are not in a "Suarez" situation this time next year with him. He makes things happen and I can see a bid from someone next year.

What have I become? I used to be so optimistic and now even our brightest hope has me fearing for a Barca/Real/Arsenal bid.

Come on Liverpool, bring back that feeling Moorsey had when he was a kid watching Barnes, Beardsley, Aldo, etc (for a few quid as well!)

Yeah, tears of joy when he lifts the European Cup and Premier League trophy at the age of 25. As Captain. Which will be especially sweet, as he won the treble the year before. And the year before that.
