Went to see it the other night in the Belfast Film Festival. There was a great turnout and I believe some of the families were there as well. It was introduced by Phil Scratton who wrote Hillsborough: The Truth and afterwards he produced actual statements from South Yorkshire coppers that were edited so as not to have anything incriminating against the cops and to blame drunken, ticketless Liverpool fans. The film was one of the most emotionally charged, powerful dramas I've ever seen. Absolutely brilliant. I wasn't at Hillsborough but I really got a glimpse of what it must've been like to be there that day. It highlights the stories of three families devastated b…

I was WAY wrong about them. I used to think they were wank and overrated. I can't believe how wrong I was. Absolutely immense group and definitely one of the most important of all time. Plus, I used to have a mad Beatles hair cut about 4-5 years ago. Never let your step mother near you with a pair of hair sheers. Shears?

Just had sweet & sour chicken for tea & have realised that water chestnuts must be the most irritating & pointless non-food in the world. They add the square-root of fuck all to any meal. Anybody think of anything blander / more annoying in a food sense ?

I have in the past couple of months acquired the following long players by one means or another: Grinderman - Grinderman This is the album by Nick Cave and his backing band of evil monkeys. It's mostly dirty old man garage rock (think kind of the Cramps) with Cave's dark and amusing lyrics combined with squalling guitars. It's ace. The kind of record that makes you want to play it top volume and jump around the lounge with a load of drunk sweaty monkeys. Rephrase - Little Victories This is the new record by chimp DJ Rephrase - look at him selecting the vinyl there, the cheeky fellow! It's a sampledelic (as the name suggests) funk/hip hop/breaks …

Anybody posted their CV on there yet? Just done it myself. Would be interesting to see if anybody's had any job offers through them.

Right, really tenuous this. Theres a guy that does a tv review prog somewhere on the telly. He looks at what progs are on and stuff and then does a commentarty. I think he also does an internet column doing the same sort of stuff. His stuff is generally funny with lots of swearing and large dollops of rage. Im trying to figure out who he is, what his prog/web site is called so I can make more of a point of watching it. Ive seen it twice by accident and both times forgot to notice what it was called. Hes got plain black hair and quite goggly eyes... Any ideas?

http://www.robmanuel.com/howdirtyareyou/ Go on, do the test. I got £700.60 and there are some others that I could arguably put on there. I'm not sure if that makes me a legend or a filthy pervert.

its not long until i'm going to be searching for a car. i was thinking about leasing, this way i could get a really good car withouth coming up with a lot of money at once. i have since been told that if i am going to struggle getting the money together i could get a loan from the bank and when i have finnished paying the car is mine, although i have heard that not all banks will give loans to 17 year olds? don't know if thats true? any thoughts?
