Downing is playing on the wrong side, thats why he never goes past anyone on the outside when he is playing on the right.

 

It excuses him somewhat the way I see it, but he should try to past the fullback on the outside even if he play on the right, his right foot cant be that bad?

Nuri Sahin is a beautiful man, good game, enjoyed that. Suso's run and ball through was brilliant.

Suso is basically the new David Silva. He just fucking is.

Delighted with that performance from that set of players.

Sahin, Assaidi and Coates claimed their stakes i think. Suso had an immidiate impact aswell when he came on. The present might be dull but the future is looking bright.

What a performance! Not to be a misery guts but Henderson and Downing were nowhere to be seen in the second half, very poor. Suso is a monster, Assaidi was full of his fun, especially in the first half. Defenders all did well, keeper too outside of the first few minutes. Pacheco worked tirelessly along with Yesil. Very pleased with that.

Great result from a young team. But, people need to reel in their expectations about the players in a LC game compared to a PL game against Norwich who will be far tougher/

Really enjoyed that , so many positives to take from the game.

 

Thought Assaidi was excellent , just what you want from a winger , skill , pace and ability to beat a man , he deserved his assist.

 

Sahin looking a lot better , you can see his undoubted class starting to shine through.

 

Wisdom i think will easily make it here , he looks strong , composed and quick , Robinson had a really good game to.

 

Yesil needs more games to really judge him , Pacheco looked lively to.
