"Little old Bolton used to beat Rafa Benítez [and Liverpool] every time he came to the Reebok Stadium. And they couldn't cope with it."

Incorrect!

04/05 1-0

05/06 2-2

06/07 2-0

It wasn't as if the Rafa team (his 3rd or 4th game in charge) that Bolton beat in 2004 was any great shakes and Liverpool were terrible at the start of the 06/07 season (Bolton was the 3rd loss in the 1st 7 games). He just blows his "achievements" up so much it's laughable. Oh and by the way, he was beaten in the return legs at Anfield, the three times. Also, why does he not mention the away game at Newcastle when he managed there?

Same, but I want him back in the PL. Purely to watch his reactions if we smash his team at Anfield, really enjoy it. (and his chances of whining before and after the game to the press.) Don't really have any hate for him, just think he's mad in a funny way. Kind of reminds me of Wenger in that respect, even though Wenger can be a bell when he goes over the top.

Hahahaha, another one from an interview in the Telegraph regarding his leaving of Bolton.

"That was it. I went home and said to [my wife] Lynne, 'That’s me finished’. She didn’t believe me, nobody believed but, believe you me, when Sam makes his mind up, there is no turning back. I tried to stay loyal. I had to keep it quiet at that particular time because of my love for the club.”

He suffers from the same delusions of grandeur as the likes of Carlton Palmer and Nicklas Bendtner. There has been too much said about having self belief in recent years, as if purely having belief in yourself will increase your performance in areas where you don't actually possess any skills, or sufficient skills anyway. These people are the King Cnuts of football. (Insert vag joke here____________).

I feel like setting fire to this dressing room and watching these useless bastards squeal like terrified orphans. Fucking furious.

TheBig_Sam notBigSam

Gave each player a dart & ordered them to throw it at Rob Green's face. Every single one of them missed. Carlton Cole hit himself. Fuck me

Hahaha, priceless!

Out of context?

The fat headed cunt won a second division title as a player.

"Cunt, what has he ever done in the game"?

Allardyce was simply suggesting that there seemed to be less importance placed on whether a manager had played to a high standard previously on the continent.. It wasn't an attempt to elevate his own playing credentials. Given the litany of crap he's responsible for, it stands as one of his less outrageous comments whether it's true or not.
