Top 4. Without any additions.

Player Valuation: £15m
Mate we finished 8th even with that amazing run of results you mention. If you’re happy with 8th then great, the gap we need to close even to reach 6th is massive and requires us to score more goals haveing a striker that can’t score is a handicap. The easiest way to increase our goals and hopefully wins is by adding another attacking player that scores Ie a decent striker
We only played for 1/4 of the season Tel... we spent the other 3/4’s implementing new ideas preparing for the future, not trying to put together an immediate, yet unsustainable short term fix.

Transfer that 1/4 of a season form into a full season and that is really achievable. Especially with the years preparation we have in the bank. We’re going to be right in the mix for a top 4 spot even if we don’t add to the squad.

The fact that we have Silva, Brands and Mr Moshri’s backing ensuring we will add quality to our squad this summer just confirms it’s an absolutely outstanding time to be a blue.

I haven’t been more excited going into a season for 25 years plus if I’m honest.

Well, since this time last year anyway.

The boldness is building, as it does every summer, there’ll be 50 year old fellas with brand new shirts going around ASDA come August 1st, nailed on.

They don’t recognise us as European Champions or the best team in Europe.

Unless.

They win a Derby next season when they will have beaten the European Champions and  best team in Europe.

First Tesco and now UNESCO

I see another scapegoat here and a chance to get out of the stadium they were never building anyway.

UNESCO's World Heritage Committee has ruled on Liverpool's future famous status

The committee met in Azerbaijan yesterday and ratified a draft decision that leaves the city on the brink of losing the iconic status that it has held since 2004.

The city's status has been on the 'danger' list for potentially losing the status since Peel's 30-year Liverpool Waters project was approved in 2012.

The committee has now confirmed its 'extreme concern' at what it cites as inaction by the city council and UK government to address concerns and halt any building in the area or the 'buffer zone' around it.

The council says it is working hard in the background to address those concerns - but the committee's decision now starts the clock for the status potentially being deleted next year.

A major added complication to matters is the proposal for Everton to build its new stadium on the historic docks - although no plans have formally been submitted for the project yet.

Speaking yesterday, Mayor Anderson said developments like those from Peel and Everton are more important than keeping the city's World Heritage Status.

He told the BBC: "It is more important we secure a future for our city... for our grandchildren... and protect our city than protect a derelict site."

He said visitors did not go to Bramley Moore Docks. They went to Mathew Street, on The Beatles' tours or on visits to listed buildings.

Funny how the world heritage title wasn't at risk when a sewage plant was built down there and a cooking oil plant that makes the area smell like a litter tray. But as soon as Everton want to build a stadium there it's out of order.

It says that tourists would rather walk around a wasteland smelling sewerage and litter trays than watch the bloooshite. And I concur.

Obsessed you say.....

Some bitter on Twitter

Absolutely disgraceful, England women win their group and then lose ONE match and they're out. Unlike Liverpool F.C. who lost their group, lost 4 matches and won a cup!
