Not sure of everyone's opinion of him on here, the last forum i was at were almost split. But this topic is about his interview last night, did anyone hear it?

 

He was asked about the Carling Cup etc. and he replied "Yeah, it would be great to go all the way in this competition, and win it for the third consecutive year. Something no other team has done before" It was along those lines anyway, cant remember the exact quote.

 

Is he pissing us off on purpose, or is he just a massive bell end?

 

Does he not know about 81' v West Ham, 82' v Spurs, 83' v Man U and 84' v Everton?

I bet he felt really important when the reporter reminded him about his good stats in the League Cup. I fucking love watching his career turn into total insignificance.
