I find both rabidly pro-Apple and rabidly anti-Apple people to be a little...odd. Admittedly Apple fanboys are probably a tad more mental than those who denounce every single thing they do, but both sets of people are definitely still mental.

I pretend to be anti-Apple, even though I have an ipod, which I'd be lost without. I just don't really see all the fuss about the iphone. Certainly delighted that I've gone with the HTC Desire, though. Absolutely phenomenal phone.

If that's the same as the Nexus One (but just without the Google branding), then it is indeed a brilliant phone. As is, in my opinion, the iPhone. My problem is that, having got rid of my iPod when I got the iPhone, I've got so used to not having to carry both a phone and an MP3 player that Apple now have me by the short and curlies.

Words cannot describe how brilliant it is.

I got this phone 2 weeks ago due to reading this thread & needing an internet-phone with access to markets for work.

Unfortunately i cannot work it & have now gone back to my trusty Nokia with real buttons.

I am now officially an old cunt.

I want this phone so badly. You could even say that I Desire it greatly. Fnar.

Do you still have a Hero? That's the only problem with HTC's is they bring out a better one every 12 months while you're tied in to an 18-24 month contract.

Reason #20493242 not to get an iPhone. You come out with really cheesy, lameness like the above sentence.

Don't fight it, embrace it.

I like HTC phones. I was going to get one when my contract was up for renewal in June. My bird has one and the lower part of the screen stopped working. She sent it back to HTC hoping to get it fixed because of their "brilliant" 2 year manufacturers warranty they boast about. They then went to charge her £312 to fix it because apparently the phone had been damaged by her (did it fuck).

I know people like Ted who have had no grief with their HTC Hero.

So it's either the Legend or the iPhone for me in June.

But because of having an iPhone now and the stunt HTC tried with my birds phone I am leaning more towards the iPhone.
