Hang on, Paul spent the morning convincing himself Darwin was going to single handedly tear City apart and score a hat-trick, and then got all disappointed with him when he failed to deliver on his entirely unrealistic expectations. I was being the voice of reason.

You are an absolute grade one nugget as far as Darwin is concerned.

And it wasn’t all morning, by the way; it was all week!!!

I do empathise with Dave, in a sense, as I’m convinced every week is the match we win 0-1(Gomez 97+)

I learned my lesson with Rob Jones or I'd be right there with you.

Lucho worked his arse off. In many ways Lucho was brilliant, but unless Darwin was actually injured, it is Lucho that should have been subbed, because as mentioned in the match chat, he tends to cramp Robbo’s style. Cody came on for Darwin. My heart sank. It sank because Mo had come on and I knew Mo would thread a wonder ball onto a front runner and I backed Darwin to get the job done. Even Cody I think would have scored Diaz’s chance.

Personal opinion. At the end of the day, we couldn’t find a goal, but christ there were squandered opportunities.

Darwin was goosed, the minute before he was subbed they were passing it around him and he was stood still getting his breath back. He's just come back from hamstring trouble so they were never going to let him stay on when he was in any fatigued.

I hate seeing him go off as much as anyone does, but it seemed pretty unavoidable.

I didn't hear any Foden chant on the TV, not that it makes it any better.

I watched it on a stream of NBC, it had John Champion, Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux on commentary and the chat was loud and clear, I think it was just after his shot was saved.

Horrible, classless stuff.
