Decent afternoon other than United being bailed out by the officials yet again. And yet that prick Fernandes actually had the nerve to state that the officials owed them an apology after the Spurs game. They'd finish midtable without the constant help they get from the officials.

Is it too soon to start fearing for our blue neighbours

Dreadful start spunking 3 games on the spin but they are not alone in being shit in this division . Wolves are awful as are Luton, and  Bournemouth. Sheff Utd and Burnley probably going to be down there too but games like this are going to be critical and if Ev are bottom still at the end of Sept , after a fairly gentle start in terms of fixtures ,then it might finally be the season they don't wriggle off the hook.

It's certainly too soon to set yourself up for dissapointment.

Just assume at every stage they'll somehow manage to escape the drop because they probably will.

So you are saying we are out of it?

Well I don’t think our squad is strong enough anyway, but yes, absolutely.

19/20 is the only season bar Guardiola’s first that they didn’t pull ahead at any point (other than by goal difference on the opening day) and it’s the only time since 2017 they failed to win the league. I can’t see it being any different this time around.

Brighton had them on GD yesterday two matches in.

Fair points.
