There can't be many games over the last 5 years where we've obliterated our opponents and Mo has played the 90 minutes without getting a goal or an assist. Of course he should have scored today but if we can continue getting goals from elsewhere, I'll take it.

 

Could still do with a midfield addition or two mind!

Observations from the game:

 

How come each of the VAR reviews on 2 of our goals took longer than for Rashford's 'on side' VAR decision on Monday night?

 

There was a 2nd half VAR check on one goal, 3 other goals scored in the half and one lengthy stoppage for treatment to a Bournemouth player yet the ref only played 4 minutes added time. Seriously? That should have been no less than 6 minutes added time at the end of the 2nd half. Even 8 wouldnt have been overtly long.

 

Mo stopped us setting a new PL and club record! Couldnt believe he missed the 1st half tap in!

 

What's with people streaming out of Anfield when there's nearly 15 minutes of normal time left?

 

Stop fucking shouting 'Shoooooooooot!' even if Trent did strike a great shot.

 

It was great to see Bobby and Diaz grab 2 with Elliot (he isnt good enough according to some!), Virgil, Carvalho and Trent grab one each.

 

Why were the stewards in the Main Stand lower tier, ARE have to be so heavy handed with the guy who took his shirt off and had a bit of banter with the Bournemouth fans? What fucking harm did he do that needed him chucking out of the ground instead of just telling him to calm down?

 

Lovely gesture by the crowd on 9 minutes for Olivia. RIP, darling.

On the point above about injury time - sadly it seems refs never add the right amount when games are well won - it shouldn't be case but just so often is....almost a case of putting the hammered team out of their misery.

 

The 'shoot' stuff is really frigging shite too.

 

Anyway biggest league win since 1989 - build on it, reds.
