Ancelotti has done well against us by adopting a defend-and-counter approach, and often been fortunate to catch us on a bad day. I think 2005 scarred him because his teams have never again been as attack-minded against us as that Milan team was in the first half in Istanbul.

 

We will need to be on it from the get-go because they are probably stronger than they were when we've faced them in the last couple of years. They'd added well in midfield and defence, and young players like Valverde, Vinicius and Rodrygo have kicked on a ton.
