Spurs going after Luis Diaz, which is a bit shit.

Surprised myself when the Guardian is now linking a player who would've been at Anfield by now per all the shitty rumours. He is also linked to Manure while there is no mention of Liverpool.

Are exploratory enquiries the same as preparing a bid or is it closer to aggressively monitoring.

Think it's the same as "club officials think a deal in January would be difficult"

Is Traore an upgrade? I mean, he's a far better sprinter than Taki or Div, but I'm not sure he's a better footballer.

At 20 Mill I would be all over this. It's not like he would be coming with a guaranteed start promised. Welcome addition to the squad.

For 20 million I'd take Troare, a squad option that Klopp likes a lot. He wouldn't be on any list I'd make of players we want but as an opportunistic signing sure. The only reason I wouldn't at that price is we are so skint as a club the 20 million could go towards another deal that may improve the first choice midfield positions.

Traore is fucking shite.

All he can do is run fast, even being able to do that is of pretty much zero use to us. He can cause a bit of havoc on the break playing for a team that sits deep.

When teams are just sitting back like loads do against us his pace becomes irrelevant and then we're reliant on his football nous and ability to deliver a killer ball or score a goal, both of which he can't do.

We may as well find an olympic sprinter and chuck them 10k per week, miles cheaper and would give us exactly the same level of improvement to the squad.

Meh. I was never convinced by the talks we were in for him.

I think we’ll go for somebody more left field, more “moneyball”, like Jota.

Our true target, is yet, to reveal himself…

Repped for reference to the Sopranos.

Wrexham are the ones owned by Mac from Sunny and that other actor right?

Must be the first Hollywood bucks rolling in.

I don't think they've had to dip their hand in their pockets yet. They are averaging over 8000 for a home gate and apparently have match day revenues of £200k. Added to that the sponsorship from the likes of TikTok and Tripedia. Big win last night, just 3 points off top now and have collected more points from the last 36 than all but 4 teams in the top five divisions.

Its a lucky break for Wrexham. I just wish something would happen with Darlington, the team my Dad supported.

They have never really recovered post Reynolds.

Was Ryan Reynolds at Darlington before Wrexham?

So the Echo have no idea what is going on with Diaz.

That’s why they’ve quoted A Bola.

Where do we need to strengthen? More creativity in midfield is my guess.

You’ve invited the crazies to run a mock now!

On the assumption Salah stays, for me…

Left winger to put pressure / replace Mane.

A starting central midfielder.

Potentially another forward and midfielder to improve the squad, depending on price, what we spend on the above pair and sales.
