Leicester have agreed terms with Boubakary Soumaré of Lille in a deal worth €30m according to a lot of news outlets.

Good player him. But I don't know if Lille would be agreeing deals for their players with 2 games remaining of their biggest season in a while.

Also, I am hearing that we talked to Udinese about Rodrigo de Paul and Udinese wants more money upfront than the installments we proposed. Something to keep a watch on maybe?

I know it's a bit Football Manager but IMO we need a:

RB - A better option than Williams for Trent

LB - A Replacement for Tsimikas, who hasn't worked out.

CB - A 4th choice - looks like Kounate for 30m

Kabab - At 21 years old and 18m he will probably be bought given the injury status of VVD, GOMEZ and Matip.

CM - A replacement for Gini

CF - Need a Replacement for Origi but probably someone who can start with the slow demise of Bobby.

Elliot will probably replace Shaq if we can sell him.

That's 6 players (5 if Tsimikas is kept).

Klopp gets on average £25m net to spend annually so we will need to raise a lash from sales.

Unless we sell 1st teamers and Mane/Salah are sold to bring in a Sancho type we will have to get as much as we can from the fringe players.

Phillips Davies Tsimikas Origi Keita Shaq Minamino Wilson and Grujic - even if all were sold, won't generate too much - 90m max while Adrian and Gini will save a few bob off the wage bill too I suppose.

£50m looks like it is going to be spent on the 2 CBs so we will have to be clever with the others. If we can get an older striker on a free or on the cheap a la Cavani/Suarez it frees up money for a proper £50m younger midfielder to replace Gini and bring down the age profile of the MF.

This leaves approx 10/15m for the FB cover.

Probably doesn't solve the age profile issue of the forwards but it makes the squad a lot stronger than it has been this season.

Got a feeling a Bobby replacement will be the priority if we’re looking to bring in another forward, unless Salah is sold. It breaks my heart to say it though. Someone who can work as well as he has with Mane and Salah won’t be easy to find.

We don't need a left back. Can't just add Tsimikas to our massive list of players we need to sell because he's had some injuries one season.

Going by the comments the mirror are putting to Klopp press conference sound like we are spending fuck all this summer and will go with mostly the same squad again. Reckon Konaté and a midfielder will be it, maybe a cheap back up attacker

Why would anyone think that we are going to be spending any money, unless they were in absolute dreamland?

It's exact the same position as last summer, except even worse.  The club has lost shitloads of money due to Covid, for the second year in a row and it will likely be more money than last year.

FSG have shown they will not put any of their own money in, but will just spend what the club makes.

The club has lost shitloads, so the only way we could potentially buy anyone is if we sell a few players.  However every club in the world, bar the oil cheats, is in the exact same position as us, or worse, so selling any players for any big money is going to be nigh on impossible.  We're more than likely going to be stuck with our high wage earners for that reason too.

Our one slim chance of selling anyone for a decent wedge is if Man City, Chelsea or PSG decide to spend big bucks on someone and we get in the chain.  However that's also not going to be that great, because it will probably mean we've sold Mo to PSG.

Jota type deals were we pay a minimum up front with more backloaded to the end of the contract are the absolute best we can hope for, and I wouldn't really be expecting those either.
