Its been very entertaining. Particularly the conspiracy theory that renewing Durham Chief Cons contract last month was a pay-off by the Labour Police Commissioner. They’re losing their heads over it.

It’s like we’ve got our own bunch of Republican nut jobs. Weirdos.

Hearing Dorries is considering running. That’ll get ‘em fired up.

Dorries? Haha, please make it so. She doesn't stand a cat in hells chance but fuck me, the comedy value alone would be something to behold.

I've said for a very long time that he knows what he's at. Sit back and let the tories eat themselves. He really hasn't had to do much more than that. Stay out of trouble within his own party and be ready when the inevitable happens. Its nearly time now, next step is allow the various tory candidates destroy each other over Brexit policy. That's still the huge elephant in the room, there is nearly no point in winning before that's resolved. This was a starting point and he was on the front foot and came across really well. Dictating who is asking questions and when he ends his answer. That's the exact opposite of his usual scenario he faces. Honesty and competence will be hugely important in the coming weeks. Let the red wall see the traitors in action for 6 weeks and just keep being prime ministerial when the opportunity arises. The country will be ready for someone serious.

Yeah, there’s actually been a few times where he has had this same format and comes across very well. There is something calmer and more assured about him now though. That’s the first time I’ve heard him talk about what he will do when he is PM in a way that I both believe it and think that he believes it.

It must be so infuriating to have a moron just ignore your question week after week and get away with it. Keeping calm for so long is a great sign.

It's unreal how Johnson gets away with it. I don't think that the new PM will be able to get away with it quite so easy. I can tell you from personal experience, having a moron ignore your questions is quite infuriating.

I'm aware of the functionality, thanks. I prefer to know when somebody is 'pulling a Johnson' and avoiding questions and telling porkies.

Oh do you now? Sounds very pompous but whatever flouts your boat.
