Is he Claudio's son?

Judging by the picture I think he needs to have a word with his Mrs to see if she has ever met Michael Ballack.

Mbappe in the last year of his contract - rumoured to be available for £91m.

Halland release clause £65m.

Upamenco release clause of £42m

Sancho probably still available for £120m.

Assume it’d be Sancho or Mbappe, but I’m sure if we start a crowd fund today we could get the £200m required.

Jota is going to score 60 goals this season then we will sell him to PSG for £250m.

We will buy Mbappe, Upemecano, Haaland, do the Anfield road end and buy a giant laser to blow the Etihad up.

No one is ever paying any money for this useless twat.

He will just go on loan again and again until his contract runs out.

That Kabak we are being linked to likely to get a massive suspension. Not seen it but apparently just intentionally spat on a opponent. Dirty cunt, in this fucking climate too, especially when a teammate has just tested positive

We can do without more drama like that.

Then people will complain because the net spend is too low. FUCKING FSG.

4-3-3

Trent                Gomez              Van Dijk                Robbo

  Hendo/Fabinho  Thiago/Wijnaldun/Jones  Keita/Ox/Milner

     Salah                Firmino/Minamino             Mane/Jota

4-2-3-1

Trent              Gomez                 Van Dijk              Robbo

                    Fab/Hendo    Thiago/Wijnaldum/Keita

                                 Firmino/Jota

Do we think this could be the 4-2-3-1 we've been talking about? If we've had one weakness of late it's against those teams that park the bus at Anfield. Could this be the answer. Also I'm not sure about Bobby as a No. 10. I don't think he played his best when we used him there.

Most unwelcome arrival in Berlin since Marshall Zhukov.

Against Bayern yes.

He reminds me of Lovren on a shit day. Out of position, throws himself into tackles.

Even if he was shit hot defender, that behaviour would instantly rule him out of the reckoning with Klopp and Edwards, given their emphasis on personality and temperament.

    • A horrible horrible cunt. And Diouf.
    • Our academy did well when it started out, but it was stifled through the period when Rafa was here when they seemed at odds with each other philosophy and Rafa built a shadow young reserve team and there was little to no cooperation. But since then there's been plenty of wins despite how long it takes for players to come through. Admittedly a lot of those players haven't always started at the club at 8 and they've been parachuted in on their mid teens, but that's part of how it works now.  I would be amazed if it doesn't pay for itself and more. We currently have one of the best right backs in world football (well unless you're Gareth Southgate), along with some fringe players and promising talent. Surely it only gets better now the kids are on the same site as the players.    I don't think you can expect one superstar per generation and a handful of decent talents I think is the most we can expect and if we get more, it is a bonus.
    • The only way I'd be behind a breakaway league is if it's a kick up the arse to UEFA and the Premier League to get their shit together - e.g. by employing competent referees. Sadly this just looks like a massive cash grab for the bigger clubs.
    • Defo hope we do this. Tough learning ground down there compared to the pampered academy players or some contract bagger.
Been some decent signings for prem clubs the past couple of seasons and we’ve benefitted brilliantly with relegated players. Without any evidence to back this up, imo, these lads have that bit more hunger to succeed after being overlooked by the bigger clubs academies when they were younger and have been allowed to develop without the pressure of making it at the top clubs.   I don’t feel our academies been that much of a success for how long it’s been running. There doesn’t seem to be that much long term development in getting the right players in the big positions for the first team. From what I’ve seen over the years, it’s just a case of getting 11 players on the pitch in none competitive games and letting them stay doing nothing.
