I was never a massive Eagles fan but I think the lyrics and songs on this record were as near to top notch as you can get.

Besides New Kid in Town, which I never really  liked, every other song is fucking brilliant and has meaning to me.

I remember breaking up with this girl  and driving home listening to Wasted Time. I got divorced recently and its still fucking relevant.

I am not a massive music guy, but this one stands the test of time I reckon.

Who hasn't carved a turkey or Sunday roast and thought of stabbing it with steely knives?

I remember doing lines in the 80s with this album on as well, maybe early 90s. Bit of a blur.

I am going to drink some Bourgogne Pinot Noir and listen to the album.

Please tell me Don Henley and Joe Walsh are still alive...

favourite song of all time. I went to see them in the MEN a few years ago.

has a big meaning to me. my dad is deaf and when this song came out all his mates were listening to it and saying how good it is. he asked me to listen to it and tell him what it was like. all he got off his mates was "its f'in boss"

I was instantly hooked.

my dad isn't a sentimental fella but it means a lot to me.
