As a currently convicted rapist, he's on the sex offender's register.

In his line of work, he's required to perform in front of spectators (not through windows though), in much the same way as a stage actor might be required to perform before an audience.

 

In the 'audience' (in his case spectators), there will be a number of minors. Some of whom may or may not be accompanied by an adult.

 

I wonder what the actual legal implications of this are.

Normal people don't just take someone to court over a consensual one night stand Spy. She was getting shagged by multiple men whilst others filmed it outside so they could send it to their mates and show it around town. They could of uploaded that on the internet and ruined that girls life.

I think Ched Evans is entitled to work and Oldham are entitled to employ him, so I guess we agree on that much. Where we differ is I think people are entitled to protest against his employment, in the same manner as people objected to Luke McCormick and Lee Hughes getting back into football. I think we can respectfully disagree on that, even if you seem to be unaware of the backlash that greeted their situations at the time. Are you one of the types who have been smearing his victim and making her life a misery, such as this? I really don't think 'rape community' is too strong a term for such a revolting point of view.

 

 

I'm not smearing anyone. As in most rape cases it's her word against his. We have a legal system not a justice system, and the legal system found him guilty. That a jury chose to believe her doesn't mean I should, and it certainly doesn't mean that we can call him a rapist on account of the legal system pronouncing him one, but then decide we're not following the legal system when it comes to deciding the extent of his punishment. I the jury have decided he's innocent, which by default makes her a lying slut. That's just logic. It will be interesting to see opinions change if the legal system subsequently changes its mind on appeal.

No idea which case you're thinking of but none of that sounds anything like the Ched Evans case. Really.

 

For a start, the girl was nothing like comatose on account of her cheerfully giving consent for Evan's mate to rattle her.  After the point that she did that, she spent about an hour fucking about in a kebab shop, travelled to a hotel and spent more time in the hotel before Evans turned up, during which time she had nothing more to drink.  You can see in the cctv from the hotel that she's not falling around the floor or being carried into the place.

 

Even she doesn't dispute that by the way.  She said she couldn't remember the night the day after, a lot of people seem to have equated that mentally with her being passed out, or on the verge of it.  I kind of get how that happens, but just take a look a the Christmas night out thread on the GF for plenty of examples of people not remembering the previous evening whilst clearly not being passed out and instead actively engaged in such actions as having fights, calling married directors at work milfs in front of their husbands and telling senior colleagues that they're cunts.

 

As I've said before I wasn't there so I don't know what happened either.  That's exactly why I'm very glad I wasn't on that jury.
