Agree, I remember back in the day you'd open the packet and your whole house would smell of pickled onion. I think they got toned down in recent years. Either that or my nose is fucked.

I must dis-agree....pickled onion crisps of any variety....just too sharp! But monster munch crisps...or any other "corn snack" is a no no......turns into a kind of past and gets all stuck tour teeth!

That's the appeal, right there. That and the outstanding pickled oniony-ness of them. The Flamin' Hot ones rules as well. Just slightly less.

They're decent but my mature tastes would now take a Thai sweet chilli Sensations or a Branaghan's Ham & Mustard over them.

The beef and mustard are devine and a meal in themselves.

Prawn cocktail wotsits closely followed by the flamin hot ones are quite Magnificent. Honourable mention to Thai sweet chilli sensations. Also, Wotsits are a good size, monster munch are too big, you have to bite them in half before you have one, getting crumbs all over your couch. Wotsits rule.

I've only ever eaten them in the UK. Not seen them anywhere for ages. They were 10p crisps when I was at school. Fucking amazing they were.
