I’d love to live in a hot climate, love the heat me these days, maybe not 38 like

It'll be hotter in August. If I had the money I'd fuck off to Asturias for a couple of months every summer.

Cricket season could be February to November in the south.

Beautiful Country like. If I moved it would be either Spain or New Zealand. Probably New Zealand for the cricket.

Massive regret for me is not going to New Zealand when I was 19 to live there for six months and be the overseas player at a club.

Looks like an immense country.

Should have been an absolute thriller this

The British weather can hamper a test match at any time, but Lord's is often used for the opening test when it might be better later in a test series. Maybe it earns the ECB more money than any other venue, and maybe the Lord's shirt-and-tie brigade don't want the ignominy of hosting what could end up as a dead rubber at the hallowed "home of cricket", with the test series already decided before. Test matches just seem more enjoyable when they are played anywhere but Lord's.

Agreed.

Never had any interest in going to a game there.
