I'm not a Zutons fan by any stretch but that is certainly not the way I would describe them.

Maybe that's harsh to tar them with that brush, their crime was being around at the same time as Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs and The Fratellis and all that muck.

pretty but no.

Don't know if it's better than the original but nobody is topping the Yes cover of it.

Just as an aside, the tour manager/erstwhile drummer of First Aid Kit once drove me to a wedding. He's a nice bloke.

Now and again you get a great pop song and one of those is Here Comes That Feeling by Brenda Lee but i came across a live version by Roxanne Wilde singing on stage with her Dad, its really good and she looks and sounds great.

For some reason i cant post videos or pictures lately, something to with freeing up space, new phone is needed.

Great that ta, it's quite sad really as this old fella in my local used to do an old time Rock n Roll DJ on a Sunday and used to play Brenda Lee, only last Sunday i was telling him about that version, anyway the poor chap died when he got home, a nice old man too.

I was watching the film Jeepers Creepers the other night and the last time I'd previously watched it was at the cinema and I remember it being a half decent horror film and a remembered one scene in which the (great) song Peek-a-boo by Siouxie and the Banshees was playing in the car radio.

Anyway watching it again and found out it was actually a cover version, it was never realised by the band and is not available on Spotify or itunes but I found it on YouTube. Not saying it's better than the original but it's pretty good.

I, too, saw Jeepers Creepers at the pictures. Must have been twenty years ago. I thought it was shite. Never watched it since.

She must be Kim Wilde's daughter as she sounds exactly like her. It being Marty Wilde's show is a giveaway that it's a family performance. I liked Kim's voice but don't think her assumed daughter is anywhere near as good, imo.

She’s Marty’s daughter.
