They won't go down, the bottom half of the league is absolute dross. In fact, Everton might not win again this season and probably wouldn't go down.

As much as I'd love to see it, I'm pretty content to see them in purgatory around the relegation zone for eternity.

They don't deserve to go down either based on how they've played this season. But it would be great if the one year where they've played not rancid football would be the one where they get ejected.

“Fuck off you negative twat” is quite an ironic thing to shout. Beautiful in it’s simplicity on the surface, yet hints at a more complex mindset of inner turmoil. I might go the next Everton home game and show people my anger volcano I use sometimes in work.

Replace all the underground words with one big magma chamber labelled "Everton".

You fear for them. You really do.

Worrying times etc, etc…

I'm genuinely surprised they're not paying more than that. In fact they just absolutely must be. Some of the debt they carry is at 18%. I think the cheapest is at 10%.

They owe IMR 200m

They owe 777 190m

They owe MSP 140m

That's 430m. Even at 10% across the lot that's about the figure he's saying.

530m if your 3 quoted figures are correct...

I wonder when was the last time they actually got 40 thousand for a game.

To be fair they are around it - usually 39,000 odd...

Don't think the pit quite holds 40,000

Yeah, shit maths from while cooking!

The IMR & MSP numbers are from their own releases & accounts. The 777 is as reported in the press. So that'd be 53m per year at just 10%. Which is 4.1m per month. If at an average of 12%, that sticks another 10m per year 5.3m per month. But as I say, as far as I remember reading, the lowest rate is at 10% and highest at 18%. 12% would be conservative imo. We'll see a lot of it in their accounts when they come out.

I think Everton could offer to sponsor out various parts of their ground to gain funds. The Park End goals could be sponsored by Ian Rush. Well, less sponsored and more owned in his case.

Apparently Winalot were approached, but declined.
