Doom and gloom on the 777 thread on GOT, as the hoped for backup bidders aren’t unless creditors give up big chunks of what they’re owed.

The Athletic saying there is no backup bidder unless all the creditors agree to large discounts on money owed, what a mess we are in.

Even if the credit would give up money owed why should that be allowed through FFP. Its a back door scheme for clubs to manipulate if you allow it. City owner goes heavily into debt, sells to his brother who agrees to pennies on the pound in money owed, brother starts off with a clean slate. Fuck that

Sounds like they're waiting for them to go into administration.

I thought that they were getting bought by the guy who owns the New York Yankees or some Qatari investment consortium who want to own the greatest stadium the world has ever seen on the banks of the Royal blur mersey????

They were about to invest then took a look around Everton’s trophies rooms and saw …. ants in the carpet…….

Won't they end up agreeing to large discounts rather than lose all of their money?

Everton can easily pay them back, the players can be sold and the stadium is a major asset
