It's a small gripe but there were three occasions in the second half when Villa players were played beyond Man Utd's back four and the trigger happy assistant incorrectly flagged for offside. No wonder it's so hard to win at their place.

Whether we could get three points at Fulham was a big question before the game. We did, and played well - mullered them really.

 

Most of us (I'm presuming) saw United v Villa as a bit of a home banker - they won, but were shite.

 

There's fucking loads left to go yet, and United's air of invincibility is well and truly shot. There will be a few looking at them who now fancy their chances.

 

We certainly look the more daunting task. They'll drop points - of that I have no doubt. If we win all our games, we'll walk the league. No doubts at all.

That last gasp winner will totally revitalise them and they get a host of top players back from now on. They can very easily go on a run of 7 wins and a loss. And that'd be enough for them. I'm absolutely gutted at that result.

 

Also, server overloads are REALLY annoying.

I'll say what i've said fo ages, that United team is not all that great. Regardless of who is in their backline, if you have a go at them you have a chance. 8 goals conceeded in 3 games. Massive boost for them today obviously, but we just have to keep the pressure on and hope one or two teams can manage an upset. It isn't over and 3 weeks ago if you offered any of us a 1 point difference with them having just 1 game in hand we'd have taken it.
