If were buying him to Score goals then maybe, maybe not. all depends what Fowler can offer, and as somone pointed out he is a Big Red. If he can get fit then I'd take him. How he'd do I don't kno but I kno he would'nt just turn up and go thru the motions and on a plus I cant think of anyone better too Bring some of the younger lads thru.

Haven't heard anything other than what Chris B wrote in the Pink on satdee and what Maldini pm'ed me about what was on ynwa.

 

We were interested in Robbie last season, it wasn't just rumour, so I'd say there's always a chance if he can get himself fit.

 

Rafa was also interested in Davie Thommo last season but his latest knee injury fucked things up.

I met TLW forumite 'kop'. He looks nothing like his avatar, and he's bigger than Crouchy. As well as meeting me, kop also met Uncle Travelling Matt. I wasn't fortunate enough to meet UTM, but on the plus side Rashid didn't show up ;-) Only joking Rash.

And I got that "how did you know?" - face from my mates after the game, after having told them who I though Rafa would pick and how he really should try Gerrard on the right for a change 8) So thanks for the pre-match lineup.

 

I'm not as tall as Crouch btw, he is about 5 cm taller than me (I'm 197 cm, or about 6ft 5''). Did people really think that I looked like 'Bubbles' from Trailer Park Boys? That's excellent :thumbup:

I don't think it would, Rushie and Digger played on at Lpool well past their best and they are still remembered as legends for what they did in their peak. I am not saying "do it" but a fit and eager Robbie Fowler could do a job in our current team, imo!

Totally agree with that, may even shed a tear if it happened! Plus I genuinely believe he's still as good if not better than any of the strikers we've got at the moment.
