Gomez did really well when he came on, let’s hope he can sustain that.

 

He has been here 5 mins and come on in a game we were 10 men down and then played in a hostile environment where went down to 10 men.

 

He needs loads of time to bed in. Remember Robbo and others didn’t get a sniff for months before they even got a game. We are too quick to write off players considering Klopp wants them to play a certain way. I understand the want for players to shine straight away but we have a system that most player have not played in before and they need to understand how we implement it.

 

Is it ideal that he has come in so late on… no. That his is not his fault and we need to give home time. The same goes for anyone we may sign in the next few days.

 

Ive got a feeling this season may be rough for aa few months until the new signings get up to speed but they need some leeway.
