What’s the demographic of the people they have polled?

I don’t get them and why they are so important when it’s only a small percentage of the actual voting public. It feels like these polls drive peoples decisions at election time rather than politicians and manifesto pledges.

I reckon if covid ended next week and you had an election the next month it'd be close, I still reckon the Tories would win but a few heads would roll.
