VVD didn't look right after he landed on his ankle. A few wayward passes and his positioning wasn't as great as usual. Excellent before that. Should have been taken off as a precaution. We play FC Messi in 5 days for crying out loud.

He didn't land on his ankle, the other player caught him with a stud.  He'll be fine.  I'm sure if they thought there was risk of a sprain he'd have been off.

Yeah got to agree but things didnt fall for him a couple of months ago whereas now they are.

I think it was his foot.  It's got to hurt especially how little protection boots provide now.

A drubbing of Huddersfield at home isn't the ideal preparation for a game at the Nou Camp, but on the flip side, it wasn't a taxing evening for the players as they strolled to a comprehensive victory and returned to the top of the table.
