Three points is all that matters again when we've got so many players still easing themselves in or knackered from the world cup.  Even when nowhere near his best, Salah is still hurting other teams.

Don't get me wrong it wasn't plain sailing but something just seems different like we have a bit more steel and are not just gonna fold

Absolutely delighted with that result. We only played for 20 minutes, and the ref denied us two, maybe three penalties, and of course they should’ve had a red card.

 

Of course also having an excellent goalie helps.

We didn’t play great today. We got a clean sheet. We scored a goal. We won the game and got 3 points.

 

City didn’t play well today. They couldn’t keep a clean sheet. They scored a goal. They drew the game and got 1 point.

 

That’s roles reversed from last season.

That was a bit woah! Bit nervy at the end and twas more of a relief but it just goes to show you that unless you're on it at least 90%, you'll struggle to kill teams off. We started the 2nd half poorly and slowly. We needed to up our intensity and move the ball quicker. Nit picking I know but we're good enough to create far more chances against teams like this.

Fucking delighted with the win,but we must do better.

Ps, palace funnelled us into the central areas last Monday and Brighton did it too. We need our full backs to be better in the attacking areas.

I was the same. 

 

Brighton were poor and that game should have long been finished.  Though, I like Hughton good Manager.
