Jim Bowen has gone now too.

A few years back I was watching an old (obviously) episode of Bullseye. The lad needs a treble 20 with his last dart to win the big prize or walk away with BFH. In it goes and naturally everyone associated with him goes mental. And the happiest man of the lot was Jim, celebrating wildly with all and sundry. It was fantastic to see. RIP.

I've watched a few on Challenge and he goes mad when they won the end prize.

So much so that he was a bit sinister if they won a car. Grabbing the contestants by the arm, dragging them by the arm and demanding them to "get in....get in."

All a bit kidnappy but brought about by genuine happiness for his contestants.

I hope he gets a burial at sea. Having been taken out there in one of Bully's Star Prize speedboats. Mourners can chill in one of the two-berth caravans while admiring the grandfather clock. Super smashing great. Moooooooooooo!

Might be quicker for everyone to swim out there.

So, thanks to FG for providing the data, I have done an analysis of the Deadpool picks.

This was made slightly more difficult due to misspellings, nicknames and spaces after names meaning the same name wouldn't match, I have got there eventually.

This is based on the original picks only, not any additions following a death. There were 230 in total.

The 10 most popular:

Kirk Douglass - 12 picks

Leah Bracknell - 11 picks

Prince Phillip - 9 picks

Gazza - 7 picks

Jimmy Greaves, Olivia De Havilland, George Bush Snr, Clive James - 6 picks each

Robert Mugabe - 5 picks

Tessa Jowell, Stan Lee, Vera Lynn, Nobby Styles, The Queen, Linda Nolan - 4 picks each

Why are they famous?:

I also looked at what the 'celebrities' were known for. This was not necessarily clear cut, with some of them straddling 'professions', and other questions like whether a footy commentator is known for sport or for TV (I chose TV).

The most common profession were actors/actresses, making up 30% of the picks with 69. Nice!

Acting: 69 picks - 30%

Sports: 39 - 17%

Politics: 31 - 14%

Music: 24 - 10%

TV: 17 - 7%

Royalty: 15 - 7%

Writer: 13 - 6%

Business: 7 - 3%

Religion: 5 - 2%

Science: 3 - 1%

Journalism: 2 - 1%

The 1 pick professions were:

Film maker

Fashionista

Youtuber

Astronaught

Terrorist
