Well Im convinced we're in a run of bad form. We were poor today but there's 2 fouls on the keeper for the first goal. Player runs into him on the cross to make him drop it then he has the ball kicked out of his hands when he's got both hands on it.

 

Since when did the rule change to allow that and dont give it the ball wasnt under control, that's not the rule. Yet clattenburg and his lino on that side who was shit all game allowed that to stand? Joke.

 

2nd goal was spawny because he hit it into the ground but we got lucky with origi against west brom so hey ho.

 

3rd goal was can on the half way line. Plenty of time but fannied about. Then moreno doesnt defend and lets the player skip past him, cross into the box and player unmarked has a free header.

 

Sakho was an accident waiting to happen all game but even though I dont think he's as good as many make out, I think he's been thrust into the team when not fully fit because of lovren's injury and traore is, well, pants.

 

Massive disappointment but anyone who thought Klopp turning up meant we were going to win the league or challenge for 4th with these players needs to give their head a wobble. There's still a massive rebuilding job here and it will take Klopp more than 2 windows (Id say more like 3) to sort us out.

Groups of people work together to form a certain mindset. Same way you can have a toxic atmosphere in a family, you can have one in a football club. There seems to be a culture of losing, of accepting mediocrity as inevitable, that has been bred in the team. Sure football players mightn't be the brightest bunch and mightn't know why their performances are suffering but I've had a hunch for a while there's a large element of this going on.

 

Look at the piss-poor team Ferguson strolled the league with in his final season with United and what happened to them under Moyes for evidence of the importance of mentality.
