When we went three at the back, I hoped at least we would not waste anymore time passing back and to the side and instead just keeping launching it forward first time at our tall lads, with Jota picking up scraps. Nope, three at the back to show our efficiency in passing it back and to the side. 10-15mins of long ball tactics may not have been pretty but it may have been pretty effective. -

I was pleased to see how well we passed the ball around at the back to manage the game out and secure the away win. -

Was that a typo Dave or a clever and deliberate use of a word to describe our second half performance? -
Cast your mind back to Brighton vs Liverpool on 28th Nov 2020 when Stuart Atwell was referee and he gave Brighton that last minute penalty against Robbo on Wellbeck when their feet brushed. VAR (Kevin Friend) stepped in to advise Atwell that he had clearly and obviously missed something. Atwell on VAR this time watching a studs high challenge into the ribs and thought "Nothing to see here."

I don’t recall us receiving a single free kick in that first half, other than one offside. -

I think it’s his versatility that means he has to start on the bench. -

@Caramac their was a simple and sublime bit of skill by Salah in the second half on the touch line when he seemed to be in slow motion, as he pulled the ball back one way then the other. If you had the time and the inclination to post it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Without 'circling back' the 'reach out' is ineffective.

Were those the words he used? If yes, nice of him to refer to his team as a small club.

I reckon he's got Lucozade and/or Irn-Bru in the bag too.

Condolences LTW. I got one of those mouth guards / gum shields for sleep apnea years ago, which really helped. Two big positives that came with that were that it stopped / reduced any snoring and also helped in preventing me from grinding my teeth. The teeth grinding still happens but nowhere near as much as it did and what does take place is absorbed by the mouth guard. Previously the teeth grinding would often lead to me waking with a headache and/or aching jaw line. That’s completely stopped. It takes two or three nights to get used to sleeping with mouth guard, then it becomes second nature, if not soporific.
