Who's for meeting up on the occasion of a sporting event in Liverpool next Wednesday to raise a glass to stevebaby and those amazing people who went out of their way to walk with him during his final days?

There's no definite plan yet but there is talk of people meeting in town in the afternoon before moving to a venue nearer the ground.

What do you say?

Oh, and while I'm at it we still need some volunteers to take the organising of a banner for him. Chevettehs has put has hat in the ring. Who else has got skills in this department to see this thing through

Wish I could make it. I find it so very weird but this man has had a profound effect on my life. His bravery, and more importantly comedy, in the face of a fight he couldn't possibly win really made me so proud of a fella I'd never met face to face. That's weird. But he's changed my view on how someone can act in a situation like his. I can't make the 4th in his spiritual home, but by God I'll raise a glass to him in my home.

I'll be as sober as a judge.

I should now also be easily identifiable to those I've not previously met.

She's my niece.

Fuck off, she is.

This bit concerns me.  I've not met anyone, so I might end up accidentally imposing myself on a party of industrial lubricants salesmen from Letchworth or something.
