I remember hearing this about 15 years ago and being struck by it. Its a very emotional and beautiful song with an interesting history. When I played it at home, my mum started crying because her father used to sing it to her before he died. Its not too well known as far as I know. Tom Waits sings on it in one version. This was all I could find of it on-line. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sBZpv97aPo Here's the history to it. Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet In 1971, when I lived in London, I was working with a friend, Alan Power, on a film about people living rough in the area around Elephant and Castle and Waterloo Station. In the course of being filmed, som…

I really really hate that Benjamin Franklin from Prison Break, he's so fucking boring and stereotypical, I guess that goes for everyone on that show, but I just can't stop watching because I have to see how it ends, it's the only reason I can bear that twat going on about "it's all on me, baby girl", "listen up sweet pea", "yo that's my daughter yo!", blah blah! Any other suggestions? We're talking TV-shows here.

Inzamam's beard totally rules. The Pakistani appeal-to-the-umpire noise is the worst sound that could possibly emerge from a human's mouth.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1kZbk2V3tI&mode=related&search= This is a fan trailer but Heath Ledger is confirmed as The Joker in the new film, Batman Begins - The Dark Knight. Be interesting to see if he can pull it off, you'd have to go a long way to beat Jack Nicholson in the role - iconic IMO The cast list of this and the last film is superb though, Caine, Freeman, Bale, Oldman, should be a cracking film this.

Me and my mate are off to mancland at the end of the month for this charity gig at the MEN. So far it's looking a decent line up with Charlatans, Echo & The Bunnymen, Johnny Marr & The Healers and Paul Weller announced along with Noel Gallagher, Peter Hook and Mani doing solo sets. Anyone else going to this? *awaits flurry of Manchester- Cancer related "jokes"*

How ironic that a country once living under apartheid should insist that their cricket squad has to contain at least two none-white players, regardless of their cricket ability. Martin Luther King would be turning in his grave ".......judged not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character".
